With the AVIA, which uses syn­chro­nized mul­ti‑axis mo­tion sys­tems, you can uni­form­ly coat large, com­plex cur­va­tures and three‑di­men­sion­al glass sub­strates to en­sure con­sis­tent op­tic­al thick­ness and low scat­ter across domes, ca­nop­ies, len­ses, and other non‑plan­ar sur­faces.

With in‑sit­u tar­get ex­change, trans­par­ent con­duc­tive ox­ides and met­al­lic lay­ers can be de­pos­it­ed di­rect­ly on­to in­ner or out­er free‑form sur­faces with­out re‑fix­tur­ing, al­low­ing pre­cise place­ment of con­duc­tive or re­flec­tive stacks on parts with chal­leng­ing ac­cess or geo­me­try.

Com­plex coat­ing runs are de­fined by im­port­ing CAD/CAM mod­els to gen­er­ate tai­lored de­po­si­tion re­cip­es. Of­line pro­gram­ming with col­li­sion de­tec­tion stream­lines the pro­duc­tion set­up, re­duces risk to parts and tool­ing, and ac­cel­er­ates qual­i­fi­ca­tion cy­cles.
